it was great being able to be out there on the side of a mountain building houses but more importantly relationships with the people! Luis is the owner of our first house he is such a cool guy from what i got out of him. He loved it when we were putting up the outside board and he helped by screwing it to the studs! After a few practices he did a great job! his face just lit up when let him use the drill! and also great friendships are happening already. i was a little unsure of how things go with adults but the working was great! Just the car rides aren't so loud like they are with the youth trips! but sometimes in the summer we get a little ridiculous! So far a great day. woke up at 430 to make breakfast with Naomi and i'll probably be the last to bed tonight! but here's a couple pics to give you a view of my current surrounding!

Nate -
Glad to hear that Day 1 went well & you're already building relationships along with the homes - can't wait to hear about dedication day!!
I know the routine of late nights & early mornings - thanks SO MUCH for your updates, pictures, and keeping us informed.
Blessings & prayers for you, the staff, & the team,
Karen
So excited to hear so many stories with the team at the base. :o) Praying for you daily with love and care.

Hi Nate,
Great pictures! I miss you even more. I've been reading the updates from the Iowa/MI
team that is down there. It sounds like they are enjoying your food. I also read about the steep hills, scary ride and a possible earthquake in Guatemala? You forgot to tell me about that. Wonder why.:) Got your message to dad about the steel. He'll take care of it.
Keep up the great work Nate, but don't forget to get some down time for you.
We love you and miss you but are so happy your doing what you love. Take care,
Love,
Mom
Hey Nate,
Just reading the update. Great pictures! Just a little ridiculous?!! Praying for you and PBMs.
Larry
Nate,
Appreciate the updates. Not easy to find time to write i'll bet. The "Crossing" went well. Deloy is the wiz. I let him and Angie handle the computer side of things. He wants things done right, just like us. Your "old man" said we did a nice job too. You know how he can be, kidding of course.
May the Lord continue to bless your work and that of PBMs.
Love,
Uncle Randy & Aunt Gwen
Hi Nate!
Sounds like things are in full swing over there! Getting to know everyone on the team? I love the pictures you posted, especially the one with you and the kids. Your smile is as big as their smiles! I can tell you are loving every minute of your time spent there. FYI, your Chia Head is growing a lot! :) Always praying for you,
Jenelle :)
Cute!!
Looks like you're having such a great time!! The crossing wasn't the same without you. But it went well.
Praying for you always.
Love you and miss you.

Hey Nate,
Thanks for keeping your blog up date. It's great reading all the things you are involved in. Keeping you in our prayers.

Hi Nate,
Long time-no hear! Are they working you to hard? I wondered if you got the care package we sent to you. Dad sent it with the welding supplies. We hope and pray all is well with you. We've been reading the blogs from the other team so we kind of know what is going on.
Take care of yourself. We love you and miss you. (don't forget to pay your visa bill on line).
Love,
mom
Nate,
It is so great reading the posts and the updates!! You are sorely missed around here but we are so excited for you and your adventures. Last night we had our first team Guate meeting and I am so excited! It is going to be a blast being back down there. Tell everyone hi. May you have a blessed day once again!
