So after a couple more days of being immersed in Guatemalan culture i have started to think Spanish words in my brain before they come out English! Crazy huh? Well the past couple days have been pretty busy from installing flood lights to filling propane tanks with Estuardo! So that included another adventure into Chimultangeo and i am happy to realize i kind of know where i am going and remember some of the buildings and landmarks! Which is nice to know where I am driving.
This morning was very nice b/c after my morning devotions and breakfast and getting ready for the day I was invited to join in on Staff devos which yes were all in Spanish. so by the end of these 2 months i'll be really good at the ole espanol! I even had some semi-full on conversations with Estuardo, Hermano, and Naomi! It's nice that they try to help me along and teach me new words that i have never learned before!
Nights around here still end quietly around 8 p.m. which i am still not used to but it's good sleeping and when i wake up at 6 it's nice to get the sleep now when i know next week when all the teams come in i wont be getting very much of.
We just need prayer for our work to continue smoothly and quickly and for us not to lose focus of why we are here.

Morning Nate!
It's Thursday, 7:18 AM and I just enjoyed getting caught up on your blog.
Neat way for you to journal your experiences! (Uncle) Dick is out driving bus and I'm getting ready to head to Meijer's; way different from your market experiences! We have friends from Illinois coming tonight thru the weekend. Reading about the work you're doing tells me you are a jack-of-all-trades over there. Hope the next few days brings completion to the prep work before the teams come. Have a great day - we love you!
Uncle Dick & Aunt Sue:)
Any Dutch wool blankets to keep you warm at night?
Hey Good lookin'
Everyone misses you here. The house is very lonely without you. I wish you could have been my Euchre partner last night instead of Branden because he was horrible last night. Praying for you and hopes youre healthy and happy
Hi Nate
This is mom e-mailing. Larry is here helping me with this dumb thing. I think he figured it
out. This is a test. In 60 seconds it will self destruct. :)
Mom

Uncle Randy
Hi Nate!
So, Larry M. figured out the problem. For some reason, we couldn't post when we were using Mozilla Firefox. It works with Internet Explorer. Crazy. I hate computers. :)
I am so glad that you are doing well! We check your site all the time to see what you have been up to! The kiddos in my class wanted to see where you are so I showed them Guatemala on the map. They also saw a video you made when you went with church in 2007. You are making an impact with young and old! We miss you here but know you are where God has called you. Love you lots,
Jenelle :)
Good morning Nate,
Today is Friday morning and I am trying this thing out. Hopefully it will work. Jenelle is at school, counting down her days as a full time sub. She is going to miss that class. Dan is doing well with Izzy, althought the potty training could go better. Hopefully by the time you get home she'll be trained. You will love her. She has a great personality. Dad and I are doing well. It sounds like you are keeping very busy. Learning some spanish along the way. Now you will be able to talk to that guy at work. Is it this Monday the teams come? Uncle Mike knows of someone coming down in the near future and suggested we send a care package to you. Anything you forgot or are craving that you can't get down there? Just let me know.
Take care, learn alot, be careful and remember we love you and miss you.
Love,
mom
